The landmark case of Kesavananda Bharati Case is a decision from the Supreme Court of India that establishes that the Indian Constitution is the highest authority in the land. It effectively overrules the ruling of a five-judge bench of the Supreme Court of India by the government of India in a case called Golaknath. The majority decision in the case was delivered by Chief Justice S Radhakrishnan and Justice M H Beg. They found that the Indian Constitution is a fundamental document.
